Jamie, my understanding is that they are expanding and opening a second location under the name Frontier. Could be a reason for so many new positions.
The real reason Alamo is seeking to replace many positions could be because they are working on a vegan bbq popup. The concept will feature locally sourced woods and beer mash. The soy beans for the tofu, were grown on a farm comprised completely of dirt transplanted from some of RVA’s most iconic landmarks. Its going to be $8 a plate. Location TBD.
