The vacant house at 2306 Fairmount Avenue was demolished late this past week. A new construction house similar to its neighbors is planned for the lot.
The house made our list of 100 VACANT HOUSES back in 2009.

Glad to see this block getting some additional investment. Who is the developer of the new house that will be built?
When they tear these things down, what do they do with the cornice and the millwork elements? Would be great if they would sell or offer them to folks who could reuse them OR reincorporate them into the new structures. Just a thought.
