Front Porch Cafe should be open by autumn

Good news! CHAT’s Front Porch Cafe should be open by this autumn as part of the complex at the Bon Secours Center for Healthy Living Sarah Garland Jones Center at 2600 Nine Mile Road.

The goal of the cafe is to equip young adults from the area with job skills, while serving delicious food and drinks that foster a “front porch culture”. The cafe will serve coffee and espresso drinks, smoothies, and tea, along with hot and cold breakfast and lunch items.

The Front Porch Cafe will be open Tuesday-Friday from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

The Bon Secours Center for Healthy Living Sarah Garland Jones Center has 4,000 square feet of space for community purposes, including a very nice community meeting room, the Parsley’s Kitchen, the Front Porch Café, outdoor patio seating, and a bike repair station. There is a Building Blessing scheduled for Tuesday, May 16th at 11:00 AM.

I’d like to get in contact with someone involved with this project. We’d love to work with them. Would you be able to send me a name and number in a private message?
