Prayer Vigil for Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation

St. John’s Episcopal Church will hold a Prayer Vigil for Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation on April 8th, at 5pm. The Prayer Vigil will be held in the Parish Hall on the church grounds (2401 E. Broad Street) and will last about 30 minutes. The Vigil is part of a 12 Hour Prayer Vigil for Peace, Justice, and Reconciliation being held by the Community of Deacons in the Diocese of Virginia. Everyone is welcome to attend

Richmond Urban Dance Hip Hop Classes (RUD)

Kids Hip Hop is a technique class for K-8th graders. Technique classes are designed for students that want to learn the fundamentals of a certain style of dance. Master Hip Hop is a top-notch hip hop class for all skill levels, ages 8-adult. Classes are fast-paced, challenging, and fun! This is your opportunity to get nuggets of wisdom and intense choreography .In RUD Fit, you’ll enjoy 60-minutes of non-stop, follow-along, sweat-drenched hip hop! This super fun, high energy class will have you dancing your butt off while melting those dreadful, unwanted calories away.

Schedule:
5-6 p.m. Hip Hop (K-8th grade)
6-7 p.m. Master Class: Beginner Level (ages 8-Adult)
7-8 p.m. RUD Fit (ages 8-Adult)

Registration Fees (Separate from Robinson Theater classes):

7th District Residents: Individual RUD class $10 per session

City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon. Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.
