Terrible. But is this really considered Church Hill? It’s over 2.7 miles from Libby Hill Park.

CHPN is local news for the East End of Richmond, from Union Hill to Fulton, St.Johns to Fairfield. CHPN focuses on activities and events at the neighborhood level, and on larger events with direct impact on the community. https://chpn.net/about-us/1) We – all of us in the East End – from Whitcomb to Fulton (and Libby Hill) share common set of public schools, police precincts, bus lines, public library, and community history. Over the past 12 years, I have learned that this is the area that CHPN covers. Were this site to be launched today, it would likely have a different name.https://chpn.net/2012/01/11/thinking-about-changing-the-name-of-the-site/2) Most of what is covered here is not in Church Hill, anywayhttps://chpn.net/2009/04/20/map-of-the-city-neighborhoods/

“injuries that are not considered life-threatening” are still quite traumatic, especially gunshot wounds…

expensive, debilitating, life-altering…. yes.

quality-of-life-threatening, definitely.
