Must be the same guy who just opened an identical shop on Hull St. SMH

Didn’t think Hookahs were that popular.

Hm. If the few people who were smoking one of those things up at Libby Hill park a few days ago are anything to go by, there’s definitely a demand for this…

Hookas and candy on 25th Street….the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Drug paraphernalia for sale in the ghetto. At least they know their market. Makes much more sense than $8.00 hot dogs. This should go well.

Come for the candy. Stay for the hookah. Sarcasm aside, is it specialty candy from overseas?

Ugh – that block really doesn’t need a head shop. Two thumbs WAY DOWN

Not quite, you need to have alcohol and lotto tickets to add that "special" touch

Will candy cigarettes be available next to the Nik-L-Nips? Nice Combo

Not Good or Needed

Good combo. Hookah tobacco already comes in a variety of candy-like flavors, so this is a natural extension.

They’ll probably add more items as they improvise their way along. Support local business, y’all.

Oh please, it’s a bong and candy shop, pathetic. Church Hill does not need this.

Because THATS what that area needs….

"Special" how, CJ?

@#19- there’s generally diffaerence between what the area -needs-, and what businesses it can actually sustain. Kind of like the boutiques that keep popping up in Shockoe Bottom.. I’ve been to at least 3 different ones in the last 2 years that didn’t last a year. (Though, one might’ve been a consignment shop). And now there’s a new one near 17th street, on Main.

Yeah, it would be great to have the diversity of shopping that Carytown offers, but there the walking traffic/income to support that.

Hookahs, candy and blunts. Am I missing anything else?

*Difference. *There is no walking traffic.

… Apologies, not quite sure where my English skills went, with that post.

How about a betting place where we’d bet how long shops remain open and solvent around here.

meh… i question the economics of the business model since I don’t see any sweetass tshirts and posters for sale in there

@Maja…you stole that thought right from my head. Why complain about it…it’ll be gone in 6 months.
