SOMETHING dramatic happened last night in front of Patrick Henry Park. There were at least 4 marked police cars around a FedEx van, with some accounts describing men in handcuffs.
I’ve reached out to RPD for an update. Anybody got anything?

It was pretty crazy! Lots of unmarked cars and ATF agents. It appeared there was someone in the back of the FedEx van that was pulled out during the raid.
I wondered what this was all about last night! When I drove by around 6pm, there were 2 marked cars that had the Fed Ex truck pulled over and a police SUV that was driving in front of me, pulled over to assist. Behind the 2 police cars were 2 other cars pulled over too but they were so far away from the Fed Ex truck that I didn’t think it could have been an accident.

The RPD says that "The ATF conducted at traffic stop at approximately 6 p.m. last night at 24th and Broad streets. The ATF requested RPD assistance as it stopped a delivery truck for an ATF investigation."That’s alI I got.

Well if it were narcotics that would mean the DEA; so it was more than likely interstate firearms smuggling.
