My old non-running enduro motorcycle was stolen from my back yard Sunday night. It was parked (does not run) in the un-fenced parking portion of the back yard of my house that backs up to the alley […]. Our shed has a motion light but that did not stop them, looks like I will be installing security cameras. The bike value is not important, only worth a couple hundred bucks in its current state. Not being able to trust that items in my yard will not be taken is significantly worse. If you see this bike around please report it to me or the police.

In this area if something is left out it should be more an expectation that it is going to be taken, not remain.
Security cameras are great, but not if your items aren’t secure.
If possible finish the fence and lock it. Lock motos in the shed.
This is a sad reality. It’s much easier to prevent the theft, than recover it.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled. Hopefully you got something else to ride.
