They stole a wheel

From Joel:

They stole a wheel/tire of our VW car during the past Saturday night. What is next? We called the police came and just say they can’t do much.

We leave on short 30th street, near Libby Terrace. This has been one more to be added to the already long list of robberies in this quiet neighborhood.

I had a wheel stolen off my truck like that some years back. I came out to go to class and it was propped up on bricks, short the one wheel.

We had this happen to us too. It was a long time ago, and while we were on vacation. I believe they got 2 or 3 of the wheels off our car while it was parked on 22nd street if I remember correctly.

I suggest putting an alarm system on your car. It may be annoying if it goes off once in a while for false alarms, but it may work good to save your tires

Sorry to hear this!

There are wheel lock kits you can obtain at any auto parts store around town. They’re a little pricey ($50?), but that’s a heck of a lot cheaper than a new wheel. They’re pretty easy to install yourself.

Thank you everybody. Yes we bought a wheel lock at Pep Boys store. $50.00!
