Vintage-inspired Turkish Pop, Yeni Nostalji began as a passionate romance between singer & songwriter Christina Marie and the soundscape of 1960’s Turkish radio. Yeni Nostalji writes original material and reinterprets classic ‘Nostalji’ music from the 1960’s-1980’s.
Listeners have described the sound as wistful, haunting, hip, exotic, and playful. Current collaborators may include: Vlad Cuiujuclu, Andrew Randazzo, Rei Alvarez & Marlysse Simmons (most notably of Bio Ritmo & Miramar).
