B&E at Stroops on Sunday

Stroops has word of their recent break-in:

Attention Church Hill Businesses, Neighbors, & Friends.

Stroops was broken into early Sunday morning, around 1am. Luckily no one was hurt.

They broke through the side alley door. Police were notified and responded quickly. This is an alarmed building and well lit street.

We want everyone to know about this crime, to stop the future threat of break ins, and keep our neighborhood and city safe.

Their sister restaurant Dutch & Co. across the intersection at 27th and Marshall was broken into last April.

My guess is they wanted to take back some money after being charged 6 bucks for a hotdog

Do these businesses have security cameras? If not why not? A system can be professionally installed for between $1200.00 and $1500.00. Well worth the cost!

@#4, I totally agree. Both to protect the business, and also to increase the overall safety of the neighborhood.
