City Council Formal Meeting

Every 2nd and 4th Mon. Responsible for deciding official Council action, which includes discussing, adopting, rejecting, and amending laws and approving the budget. Formal meetings include a time for pubic comment and are televised live on the local PBS station and are replayed in Richmond on Government Access Channel 17, beginning at Noon and 7:00 p.m. daily.

Kindergarten Registration 2016

Kindergarten registration is Thursday, April 14, 2016, for all public schools in the Church Hill area. Children who will be 5 years old by September 30 are eligible to enter kindergarten in the fall. But first, they need to be registered. On-time registration for kindergarten helps the school systems plan for attendance, but more importantly helps your child enter school ready to succeed.
