Want to know who owns that vacant lot?

The city’s Parcel Mapper is useful interface for digging into the public details about a parcel of land.

  1. Go to the Parcel Mapper site
  2. Type in an address, owner’s name, or map reference number, or just zoom in on the map and scroll around until the parcel outlines show up.
  3. Click on an address to get the info box, and then click on the number to get to the information – who owns the property, their address, when the property last sold and for how much, the current assessment and zoning. Easy peasy.

This is also how I pieced together the real neighborhood map… if only the city used their own information.
