Planning to consider platting for Church Hill North Subdivision, City’s Master Plan, rezoning

The agenda for the March 7, 2016, meeting of the Planning Commission includes two local projects:

  • Preliminary approval for the Church Hill North Subdivision at 1611 North 31st Street (85 lots).
  • To amend the City’s Master Plan Land Use for certain properties located in the Church Hill Central, Woodville and Creighton neighborhoods to reflect the land use recommendations contained within the conservation plans for the Church Hill Central Conservation Area and the Woodville/Creighton Conservation Area.
  • To rezone the property known as 2201 East Franklin Street from the M-1 Light Industrial District to the B-5 Central Business District.
  • To conditionally rezone the property known as 2801 East Main Street from the M-1 Light Industrial District to the B-5 Central Business District, upon certain proffered conditions.
  • To conditionally rezone the property known as 2825 East Main Street from the [M-1 Light] M-2 Heavy Industrial District to the B-5 Central Business District, upon certain proffered conditions. (As Amended)
