$32 for a haircut?! & before tip. Jeezus, that’s two tanks of gas in my 4Cylinder car now! Ridiculous

Is this serious, or early April fools?

Most moderately scaled salons charge $20-24 for a male cut…. and then the typically hair cuttery type places are $8-14

Do you get a massage and manicure with these prices? or are these BOGO haircuts?

I think the prices are very reasonable. I pay more than this for a cut.

Sounds like great pricing! I pay 65-70 at Fan and Carytown shops.

The prices may be good for female cut, but it is on the high side for a male cut…. Are there any men on here that would pay $32 for a cut? Just curious

I pay that now, and gladly, after a decade or so of bad discount haircuts.

Razors on Broad at 20th is a little less (mid twenties) but I have felt that the stylist did not really listen to my request for length at all; I will try Blackbird gladly-better than that place where they wear referee shirts!!!!!!!

I think these prices are reasonable for a fairly ‘high end’ salon. I pay $55 in Carytown.

$17 + $5 tip every 10 days- Great barbers at The William Byrd. Best barbers in town.

CHpeople! This is the best salon! It’s a dream come true that they are opening another location two blocks from our house! You won’t find sweeter, more talented people with a gorgeous, happy atmosphere – at this price none the less! I used to pay $55+ tip for a women’s HC. Autumn is best. My husband and I won’t go anywhere else !

David@11 I agree. Have been going to the William Byrd for years. Get the old fashioned treatment which includes eyebrow trim and hot lather, straight razor neck shave and hot towels with head rub, all included for the $17. $35 is too steep for men’s haircuts.

OK, $32 but with men, they usually get a haircut every 2 weeks and that is $64 a month not including tip when we are use to $15-ish haircuts most anywhere. Who has that kind of disposable income in Church Hill?

Drinks here are $10. I paid that in NYC in 1999 when my hair cuts were $120. I moved back to Church Hill for THIS cost of living. Now drinks are $12 here and my haircuts are $60. Brace yourselves, more shall move for this reason. And for the GF fried chicken at the Roosevelt. Just sayin’

Every 2 weeks Eric?

Guess you just have better grooming habits than me!

I am just saying that if you can get full service for $17 from a barber shop that has been open since the 1930s, I would suspect others can do the same?
