Get this: a neighbor next to construction site saw these guys steal the plywood and called the cops. The police responded quickly and pulled these guys over a few blocks away redhanded with stolen plywood. Cops took them in and booked them. So far so good right? But it was 1am and cops couldn’t reach the owner of construction site to verify that neighbor was authorized to watch over the property. So they let these guys go!! Said “it wasn’t a crime”.

Ask yourself this: does the law exist to protect YOU or the criminal? Because it sure seems like it’s on the criminal’s side.

Now, after releasing them, they’re trying to find these scumbags again after finally speaking to the owner and verifying that the neighbor was authorized to watch the property. How insane is this? They had them. Caught them red-handed. And let them go because of a RIDICULOUS rule. Only to then spend manpower and time trying to re-catch them. Meanwhile these crooks are out on the streets somewhere.

Ridiculous that a crime must have a victim that’s actually present and vocal. Its a crime no matter what…how can they not arrest the people? Where is a greater good served in this thinking?!

I think (hope) there may be a bit more to this story from the perspective of the police.

They can hold for 24 hours. I don’t get why that wouldn’t have been used with something like this where it’s highly likely that it’s a crime.

This is a very very sad reality. My neighbors house was robbed and I called the cops. At the time I didn’t have my neighbor’s phone number and they were gone so they let the guys go….it’s unbelievable.

Same thing happened when I called the cops on these two thugs that were harassing an old lady. Cussing her out and intimidating her. I gave the cop’s their license plate number and everything but they said that if the woman (who was scared to death) didn’t call them they couldn’t do anything to these guys even though what they did was a crime and I witnessed it and was happy to testify.

I don’t get it.

That RIDICULOUS rule prevents us from becoming a Police State and thank God it exists. It’s there to protect your rights and freedom.

I know I wouldn’t be happy if somebody pointed an unwarranted finger at me, made unsubstantiated claims that aren’t verifiable and resulted in me getting locked up. I suspect many of you wouldn’t want this either.

The price of freedom is sometimes costly and inconvenient.

The one on the left is a dead ringer for Randy from MY NAME IS EARL. WHat a prophetically sad way to go through life.

there is no conspiracy it is just the law If a property is not posted nothing can be done by the police without a complaint from the property owner. If a simple no trespassing sign was posted they could arrest them.
