The Richmond Police Department has made an arrest for Wednesday’s homicides on Accommodation Street. Detectives, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s Regional Fugitive Task Force, arrested Devon J. Terry, 23, of the 1400 block of Coalter Street, in Temple Mills, Maryland. Terry was arrested yesterday morning without incident. Terry has been charged with voluntary manslaughter. His photo will be released when it is available. Around 11:42 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to the 2100 block of Accommodation Street for a report of shots fired. Officers arrived and found Jawaun L. Hargrove, 33, of the 1700 block of North 19th Street and Anthony D. Addison, 21, of the 2100 block of Accommodation Street, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital where they died. Detectives believe an argument led to the shootings. The investigation continues, however, detectives are not currently looking for other suspects. Detectives would like to thank the community for the numerous tips and information they provided that led to the arrest.
