A message from Sector 111’s Lt.Sayles:

At approximately 0145 am on August 6th Richmond Police units responded to the report of a burglary in the 2100 block of M Street. The victim was home alone and heard a noise in the home.

Moments later the victims bedroom light was turned on by an unknown race male. The suspect immediately turned the light off and fled out of the residence via an opened window. It is suspected that the suspect gained entry from the same window.

Nothing was taken and there were no injuries to the victim.

Richmond Police ask that citizens be vigilant about locking all doors and windows. Please leave exterior lights on during evening hours and if possible invest in motion activated lights. Please report suspicious behavior to 911 immediately.

If you have information about this or other crimes in your area please contact crime stoppers at 780-1000.

This sounds very similar to earlier reports of a man of similar incidents.
