Now an entertainment and residential district, Shockoe Bottom was once Richmond’s commercial and transportation hub, as well as one of the country’s busiest slave markets. Meet at East Main and 17th Streets.$15 per person, $5 for Valentine Members and children ages 12 and under. Tour guides accept cash or check. Charge in advance by phone.
