Necessary Recycling setting up shop on R Street

June 16, 2015 8:02 am by

The former Ruth’s Beauty Shop at 29th and R Streets will be the future home of Necessary Recycling, one of last year’s SEED grant winners. The company is currently sharing space with Chocolate’s By Kelly on North 29th Street, but hopes to be in their new spot by sometime this autumn.

Check out this in-depth profile of the company on richmond.com yesterday for more about Necessary Recycling:

For such a large order, the company had to hire part-time workers from around Church Hill. […]

“That’s one of the reasons we’re here — because we hope to create some jobs in the area with the manufacturing part,” Greene said.
