Graham Moomaw has the details on a recent RFP for Richmond’s initial bike-share system:
Of the 30 docking stations planned for the first phase, 14 would be located west of Belvidere Street, 12 would be located downtown between Belvidere and Interstate 95, and four would be located east of 95, according to city documents.
The coverage area is approximately 3.75 square miles, which encompasses the Fan and Museum districts, Scott’s Addition and North Boulevard, downtown, Brown’s Island, Church Hill and the eastern riverfront along the Virginia Capital Trail.
