Virginia Supportive Housing is sponsoring a public art installation this summer that will see a set of 40 doors “upcycled” by local artists (including Ed Trask and Mike Lively) and then placed in public locations around the city.
The installation will “part of a quest that inspires people of all ages to get outdoors, explore Richmond and Find Art Doors”, and serve as a vehicle to bring awareness about homelessness in the city and work towards ending it.
VSH is currently looking for local businesses who are interested in helping to sponsor the project (PDF).
