If you’d like to work up an appetite or bank some calories burned to use against the Allagash, swing by Jefferson Park’s bandstand, 8:45 a.m. Saturday and help Friends of Jefferson Park do some spring cleaning. The grass should be cut by then, so no telling what treasures we’ll find. Gloves and pickers will be provided. I’ll bring extra poo bags and buy a beer for the person with the largest bag! Cheers.
