Help Richmond Cycling Corps add a coach this year

Richmond Cycling Corps has a week left on their crowdsource campaign to hire a new coach:

This photo was taken in March of 2012. Through RCC, it the very first time that a cadre of Richmond’s inner-city youth went mountain biking. They wore jeans, sneakers, rode on sub-par bikes, and got caught out in the rain and mud on Richmond’s North-Bank trail. The kid flexing his muscle is an 11-year old Tawante Nash. Last October, now 14-years old, Tawante went on to win the VA State Championship race for Freshman Boys. On that cold wet March day in 2012 when this [somewhat historic] photo was taken… Matt Kuhn was there.

WE ARE IN OUR FINAL WEEK!!! We’ve come so far– please help us across the finish line to bring on Matt Kuhn as a full time mentor–to deliver the magic that is RCC to the youth/students of Richmond’s east-end.

Richmond Cycling Corps is the force behind the groundbreaking Armstrong Cycling Team and is expanding to three new schools in the neighborhood this year. They are doing good and unique work in the neighborhood and worthy of any support that you can give.

Groups like RCC working intensively with small groups of students have a tremendous impact. Hope they can bring Matt onboard.
