Building(s) for sale
01/02/2015 8:00 AM by John M
The little double spot above on Oakwood Avenue down by the cemetery is for sale. I called about the price but never heard back.
It also looks like something is up with the little storefront at 402 North 25th Street. There’s a lockbox on the door and it looks like the property was recently surveyed.

What did that storefront used to have painted on it? Call xxx-HERO, or something like that?
Excited to see what goes in there, hoping for a taco joint.
@#1: On point!
Didn’t the spot near the cemetery sell tombstones and monuments? Or is that another little storefront? (I ask because it seems like a relatively smart business plan, next to the graveyard… would be surprised if they had gone out of business)
It’s adjacent to that, they’re still there.
The little building at 402 N 25th was built in 1922 as the original American National Bank building’s temporary location while the big building (adjoining) was being built. The large building opened in November 1923 and the little building later became a confectionary shop, camera and record shops and a dry cleaners.
