Who runs the world?

Two of the six women featured in Brandon Fox’s look at women in men’s world of professional kitchens in this week’s Style have neighborhood connections: Metzger’s Brittany Anderson makes the cover, and Thuy Bui of the Mekong/Answer/Commercial Taphouse empire was until recently on the line at The Roosevelt.

It has occurred to me before that an amazing percentage of the businesses up here are owned or co-owned by women:

Even with that list I fell like I must be missing something…
