Missing this cat?

Posted by Jamie on the CHPN Facebook page:

Found. Possible Main coon. Currently at vet being checked for chip/spayed/neutered. Had a large wound on neck. I would hate to have to release this sweety if not chipped. Seems very displaced and scared.

Heh.. Church Hill area seems as bad as SW Virginia in terms of abandoned/stray animals.

How old? We have a 6 month old that looks like this but we are at work. She is chipped however.

This can’t be Tomas. Maine Coons are long haired and Tomas looks short haired. Please let us know when the family is found.

I’m interested if the owners dont show up. I’m looking for a new cat. Our old guy passed away last year.

To those who are looking for a new feline companion, Richmond Animal Care has dozens. I was in there this past weekend and I could have easily taken home 20 wonderful cat/kitten companions. There is this one long hair tabby kitten (4-5 mos. old) that is an absolutely adorable purr bucket. All animals adopted from RACC are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines at the time of adoption.
