Anybody want to schedule a Neighborhood Cleanup?

November 24, 2014 6:15 am by

From Mariane Jorgenson at the Department of Public Utilities:

Does your neighborhood need some sprucing up? Are there things in your house and yard you wish were gone but you have no time or way to get to the dump? Schedule a Neighborhood Cleanup through the Clean City Commission.

The Department of Public Works will send trucks out on a pre-scheduled Saturday morning to pick it all up. All it takes is advanced planning to get your neighborhood informed and ready to put out trash, clear away yard debris, and gather up their old furniture and appliances and get them to the curb on their appointed day.

To schedule a city refuse truck, call Darlene Mallory at 646-8325. You can also go online at www.richmondgov.com , click on Public Works, then Clean City Commission to learn more.
