Missing this cat?

This little guy appeared on our doorstep (700 block of North 22nd St) around 11:30 p.m., pushed his way through our two cats (who were yelling at him) and walked into our house. We tried putting him out, but he was determined to stay, seemed a little panicky at being put back outside.

He is *definitely* male (doesn’t appear to be fixed) and is mostly orange with some white markings. He seems well-fed and cared for (although he was hungry), and may possibly be an indoor cat who escaped. He is VERY sweet.

Much to our cats’ chagrin, he is residing in our bathroom for the night (since temp’s hovering around freezing). We plan to let him out in the morning, but thought his owners may be looking for him tonight (or at least want to know of his adventure).

If he’s yours, you can contact us at kai_sommer13@hotmail.com.

Does anyone know where Cubby – or his little brother – lives?

Wish we didn’t have 3 cats already, because this bugger is -adorable-.

Before putting him back outside Monday and if you have time — you can try to run him by the Church Hill Animal Hospital to check if there’s microchip in him — or if he’s local they may recognize him with the distinctive sweet face he has!! Any Vet or Animal place that’s open today could also check for the chip. Please please get the chip scan in case you might find out his address!!

Did he have a collar? Pretty sure that’s Jake, Cubby’s brother. But it might not be… I don’t remember him having the distinguished smudge of orange above his mouth.

I know where Cubby lives, but I’m not comfortable posting the house info on here–so hit me up on email if you haven’t found his home yet. shookjc@gmail.com

Poor little guy. He’s been hanging out on our porch and also charged his way into the house multiple times. I’ve been keeping food out for him and put out a stray cat shelter I made.

Taylor, We’ve been thinking about him since his short visit and subsequent departure. Glad to hear that you’ve been looking out for him. We’re curious about his territory – if you don’t mind sharing, what street / block are you on?

I’m at the corner of Cedar and 22nd. I saw him 2 nights ago with another little grey and white cat similar to him. I tried to get them to come inside but he seemed spooked about something 🙁 I’ve been out of town for 2 days so I haven’t been able to see if he’s still around.
