Church Hill Association’s 50th Anniversary Holiday Festival set for December

The Church Hill Association’s 50th Anniversary Holiday Festival holiday weekend will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday December 12th-14th, 2014. The festivities include a Candlelight Walk, Holiday Ball, and popular Holiday House Tour.

Tickets to both the Holiday House Tour and the 50th Anniversary Holiday Ball are available on the CHA website. Ticket sales locations at area businesses will be announced on the CHA site soon.

The Candlelight walk on Friday, December 12th, now offers two starting points. The first is at Union Hill at approximately 7:15 PM, the second is at St. John’s Church at approximately 7:35 PM when the service adjourns. The walk ends with caroling on Libby Hill.

The Holiday Ball on Saturday, December 13th, will be held at the Conch Republic at Rocketts Landing this year, and includes a great viewing site for the annual Parade of Lights.

The always popular 50th Anniversary House Tour is set for Sunday, December 14th. Organizers would love to include a few more homes. If you’re interested in sharing, let please send an email to Tom Wilds at twilds12@comcast.net.

The Church Hill Association is seeking sponsors for the Holiday Festival. If you are interested, please send your check to VP 2617 East Franklin Street, Richmond VA 23223. Suggested levels include: $250, $500, $750, and $1000. After expenses all additional revenue will be invested in the community.
