Can you post something on ChPN about a lost dog who was dropped off in our yard within the past hour? Cute little guy, small poodle type, white, definitely unfixed male.
Worker across the street from us said he saw a black man drop him off in our yard and walk north.

PLEASE take him to SPCA or call animal control….lord knows who/what will take this poor baby!!! Unless you know WHO is getting him….he may be getting a bad home like this. PLEASE let these organizations handle this. They screen people that may want him.
take him to the Animal care and control if you can. He is the type of dog that will not sit long in a shelter. SPCA regularly picks up these dogs because they are easy adoptions. People want small dogs. Also, his health will be evaluated and addressed before being adopted. Some people shy away from shelters thinking its doggie jail, but this little guy here will 100% find a home.
also he is a pretty uncommon breed for people to just dump. perhaps stolen? they will check his microchip if he has one, at any local vet for free. Church hill does it all the time. @ Richmond Animal Care and Control
Might be worth contacting Richmond Animal League…
Hold onto him and contact all shelters and police. His owners may be looking for him. Once he is the system his destiny is not assured, just assumed.
