A guest piece by Peter J. Bernard, CEO of Bon Secours Virginia Health System from last Saturday’s RTD on Bon Secours’ dedication to the East End and a call for engagement:
It is evident that the East End is enjoying a renaissance. Yet we know that there are many within the neighborhood who are not benefiting equally from this rebirth. Our effort is grounded firmly in the ethical obligation to share the burdens and benefits of our labors equally and justly. Engage and partner in the effort by joining us for these upcoming events. It will take a community of people with great ideas and commitment to ensure that the renaissance continues and that it benefits everyone.
