In their latest State of the Plate, the annual in-depth look Richmond’s restaurant scene, Style Weekly has named Dutch and Co. Restaurant of the Year for 2014.
The issue of Style hits the stands today, on the heels of the announcement that Dutch & Co’s Caleb Shriver and Phillip Perrow have been collectively been nominated for The People’s Best New Chef Award in the Mid-Atlantic region at Food & Wine Magazine.
It has been a good year for the restaurant at Marshall and 27th. They received stellar reviews from the Washington Post’s Tom Sietsema and the RTD’s Dana Craig. The backdoor dogs have been an absolute hit. Most recently, the restaurant picked won for Beverage Program and Phil Perrow was recognize as Rising Culinary Star at the 2014 Elby’s earlier this year.
