Volunteers needed for 7th District Health and Wellness Survey

The 7th District Health & Wellness Initiative will be conducting a research survey targeting residents in the 7th District of the City of Richmond (Church Hill & Fulton) to try to better understand the most important health issues facing East End residents, as well, improve health and wellness programs and services in the East End.

Volunteers are needed to recruit residents or assist participants in completing an internet-based survey on health and wellness topics of interest to East End residents and the community organizations who serve them. Your time commitment is flexible, with most assistance required Mondays-Fridays between 10:00 AM-4:00 PM.

Training is required to participate as a volunteer in this project. The next training session will be held February 22nd from 9:30 AM-4:00 PM at the East District Family Resource Center (2405 Jefferson Ave, Richmond, VA 23223). Please RSVP for the training session by 5pm, Wednesday February 19th.

Survey locations include the East District Family Resource Center (Church Hill), the Neighborhood Resource Center (Fulton), and the Richmond City Health District Resource Centers located in Mosby, Fairfield, Creighton, and Whitcomb Courts (Church Hill).

What’s that guy in the middle of the image smoking? Fireworks? That can’t be good for your health. He needs to put his little spoon down and take that wine bottle away from that pregnant lady! She’s gotta be in her third trimester! Or is that just a beer belly?
