Never been to St.John’s? Free tours on Saturdays through February

Never been to St.John’s? Free tours every Saturday in February if you ‘fess up:

We are launching a fun social media-based event for February, called “Fess Up February”. Have you been here before? If not, come to St. John’s Church and fess up! Fess up at the desk in the Visitor Center, and receive free admittance for a tour – only on Saturdays and only in February. No previously booked group tours are eligible.

This tongue-in-cheek social media campaign is designed to make is easy for people to become acquainted with St. John’s Church, a National Historic Landmark, in recognition as the original location of Patrick Henry’s “Liberty or death” speech.

Free tours are offered only on Saturdays only in February. Saturday hours are 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The last tour leaves at 3:30 PM. Visitors are asked to go to the Visitor Center located at the rear of the property to “fess up” where they will be offered a free tour. The site is accessible and an elevator is located on 24th street. St. John’s Church is located at 2401 E. Broad Street, Richmond VA 23223. Fore more information, call 804-648-5015.

We are promoting the idea on our social media platforms: our website, facebook, twitter, Instagram, and tumblr. If a guest tweets #fessupfebruary, they receive a free gift! Just show the desk staff your tag (#fessupfebruary) on your phone in order to receive the postcard. A retweet is also fine.

Please get in on the fun! Share the tag, and fess up yourself! It’s time to take a tour with us! Have you already been here? Great! Fess up at another Richmond site and share it on social media!
