Hey folks… I’ve got a special request.
A friend of mine was getting out of her car at 26th and M Street at about 6:00 PM on Saturday when she had a stroke and fell into the street. A woman found her, called an ambulance, and stayed with her until medical help arrived.
My friend has no idea who it was that helped her, but would like to let this generous stranger know that her quick intervention helped lessen the effects of the stroke. She would also like to thank her.
So… If this was you, please drop me a line at murden@gmail.com, I’d love to put you two in contact.

To be honest John, some random dude knocked on my door and told me about it, so I called 911. I’m glad to hear she is recovering well, but it was really the random dude who happened to knock on my door!

Truth be told, the kids and I almost went to Roosevelt that night; I burned the Hamburger Helper waiting for the ambulance!!
