The RTD has a write-up from yesterday’s meeting on the proposed Shockoe Redevelopment plan:

The mayor’s Shockoe Bottom ballpark proposal continues to receive mixed reviews as Richmond leaders hold multiple community meetings to explain and answer questions about the proposal.

About 50 people attended one of the meetings Saturday at Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, some holding signs that said, “No stadium, yes historic district.”

This was the last of 7 public meeting hosted around the 7th District by Councilwoman Newbille.
