Nice! Maybe this will slow down the pace at which this store seems to get robbed.

17 years old…I never stop being astonished at the age of these alleged criminals.

Today’s Good News: A good arrest by First Precinct officers on Monday reminds us of this famous Far Side cartoon by Gary Larsen. Officers Michael Stinger and Jordan Clark were in the area when they heard the call go out about a robbery in progress at a business on Q Street. They arrived on scene in less than a minute and found store employees trying to detain the robber.

It wasn’t too hard. After the robbery, the suspect was baffled when he couldn’t flee through the doors. He pushed and pushed, but the doors would not open. When arrested, he finally saw the sign: PULL.

With the assistance of Detective Tori Wilson and Sergeant Russell Pearce, the man was interviewed, charged accordingly and the stolen cash and firearm recovered. Good work officers!
