Urban Farmhouse will be opening soon

Rumor has the new Urban Farmhouse at Lava Lofts (310 North 33rd Street) opening soon, perhaps as early as today. A quick peak in the windows shows the market and cafe to be essentially ready, though the tables are not in place and there are still power tools around.

The collective Twitter for all locations of Urban Farmhouse said yesterday:

This will be the 3rd location for the Richmond-based collection of restaurants, with owner Kathleen Richardson also working to open a fourth at 3031 Norfolk Street in Scott’s Addition:

With two locations added this year, she said the region should prepare itself for more Urban Farmhouses.

“It’s always been part of the plan to have Richmond as our core and go the [interstates] 95 and 64 route,” Richardson said.
