I’m for this! The more renovations and retail that come just helps to support the community but I hope the same people that opposed Buzzy’s oppose this otherwise they’re just hypocrites. Most of us know that they are but now’s the chance for them to prove their narrow mindedness again.
I am very excited about Urban Farmhouse coming to Churchill. Do the other 2 locations have beer and wine? I don’t recall (asking out of curiosity only).
I’m all for it as well. I doubt that the same people will oppose this since it’s not next door to them. We’ll have to see about the neighbors near and in Lava Lofts. At least they’re trying to put their intentions up front.
Coming from someone who lives directly behind the apartments, I think I can assure you that the neighbors will NOT oppose this, as long as their wine and beer selection meets our needs!
As a resident at LavaLofts who has to endure a week of a jackhammer going off all day, I look forward to getting a hugh discount for dealing with the racket.
I was glad to see a few posts dealt only with the Urban Farmhouse. Aren’t you, who continue to beat the buzzy deadhourse, doing the same thing you so often accuse the “old timers” of doing? Carrying a grudge from one subject to the next. Enough already
For someone who is on the block and this is directly in my backyard. No NIMBY-ism here, I fully support this and will be a patron. As far as I know, all of my neighbors are on board.
it seems the motivation about the buzzys stuff is clearly secular and financial or according to a person who is a member of the ch hill assc, who opposes progress ,they dont want a certain element to come back to the neighborhood, and ruin a good thing! she said she would be paying 5k plus in taxes if she had a similar home in winsor farms or river road,

Are the same people that opposed Buzzy’s going to oppose this as well?

Of course not #2, it isn’t on their block.

Great, I can’t wait to listen to drunk people and a kitchen right under my feet…. Just when they guy above me couldn’t possibly get any louder.

I live a few blocks away and will gladly support ABC on/off!
@B – you live in an apartment building with a space zoned commercial. It’s highly unlikely that Urban Farmhouse will be a spot for drunkeness.
