Found: brown male Miniature Pincher with olive green collar. Was hiding under a car on 27th St. between Clay and Leigh. Walked him around for about an hour, but no dice on finding his owners.
Neither Pets at Play nor the Church Hill Animal Hospital recognized the dog. Has microchip but hasn’t been updated since ’05, when it was installed in Texas. He’s now at the animal shelter on Chamberlayne Ave.

Awe he’s cute!
This kind of looks like the pup that lives in the 300 block on 32nd Street. If it’s the same dog – he is loose frequently, fairly vocal, and follows me and my pup when we’re walking.
He’s adorable! Hope he finds a nice home if his owner doesn’t claim him.
Is this your dog? RT“@chpn: Do you recognize this dog? http://t.co/et5SfEYFF5” #RVA #RVALostPets
I saw him at 32nd and Broad Sunday morning around 7. He was running south on 32nd toward Grace Street. He wouldn’t let my dog and me get anywhere near him.
I hope someone finds him a home since it seems like the owner doesn’t care enough to update his records or keep him safe at home.
We live around the corner and have never seen him. He is cute.
There is a min pin that lives in the 300 block of n 32nd but it’s not this dog. That dog is black and it’s a female named Precious. My neighbors own her and she’s out sometimes but she stays close to home.
