LONG WALK TO FREEDOM
Sat Oct 19 9:00 am
This year’s walk, scheduled for October 19th, will begin at Richmond City Jail as usual. This year’s theme is “Working together to Reduce Recidivism”.
If you are not familiar with this event, The Long Walk to Freedom is designed to achieve two goals: 1) raise awareness of the challenges facing released prisoners and 2) raise funds for programs that provide solutions to these challenges.
The registration fee for the walk is $15 of which $10 goes to the solution provider of your choice and $5 go towards the cost for planning the walk. I hope that you will choose Saving Our Youth Virginia as your solution provider of choice.
