wtvr has a report about parental complaints about the non-working air conditioning at MLK Middle School:
Richmond mom Sabrina Hicks said for the past week of this new school year, her daughter has complained that it’s too hot inside of her school.
Hicks said she felt it first-hand Tuesday when she attended MLK Middle School’s open house.
“It’s hotter inside of the building than it is outside,” said Hicks, who told CBS 6 News’ Shelby Brown that explained.
This has been an ongoing problem for years. The solution towards the end of the last school year was to pass out fans to individual classrooms.

@chpn do you know if they’re still on schedule to complete the renovation this year?
@PatrickDibert Haven’t heard any differently. The plan is to move the classes over during Christmas break and start in the new building in January
