The next RVA Patronage Mob will descend on Proper Pie this Saturday starting at noon:
Let’s give them a little heart from the RVA community!
If you haven’t participated in one of these before, we go to a local business (chosen by the previous mobbed locale) on a certain day and give them an extraordinary day of patronage!! That business then gets to choose our next stop. I hope you’ll help us put heart back into the community and shop local!

Interesting choice. I’ve tried to go there several times and haven’t gotten in yet. (well, twice they were randomly closed, but other times, packed.)
I agree, I’ve never seen it not busy.
I think the patronized business chooses the next location, so it does not always highlight a business that needs a little more recognition.

I hope they bring they’re own tables. I saw a party of four trying to sit at a two top, was pretty awkward.
I wish they would make a proper pie like a plain apple pie (no cheddar) or a boston cream pie. Even a french silk pie. Now those are proper pies.
