Man killed on Q Street

The Richmond Police Department is in the early stages of a homicide investigation in the East End this morning.

At approximately 11:53 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, officers heard gunshots and received a call for random gunfire in the 2700 block of Q Street. Officers were on scene in less than a minute and found a black male in his early 30s dead of an apparent gunshot wound.

This is the 5th killing in the East End this year, and the 12th in Richmond.
