Troop 491: The Adventures of The Muddy Lions premiers today at the Byrd Theater:
Triston, a naïve adolescent boy coping with life in the projects, is enrolled in the Boy Scouts by his mother in an effort to keep him off the streets. When he witnesses a homicide, the local thug demands his silence, and he must learn, with the help of his new friends, that doing the right thing isn’t always easy. Will Triston follow the code of the streets or the code of the Scouts?

Love the song and video–the film premier at the Byrd should be awesome!

Absolute awesomeness!!!
That rules – it’d be great to figure out how to do a Church Hill showing. Maybe at the Robinson? CHAT folks?
Is the whole movie like this or is this just a video with scenes from the movie? The music isn’t really doing it for me but the story and the scenes shown during the video seem pretty cool.
I second Amy’s idea about making a Robinson screening happen. Or if it’s on DVD, could we get a showing for one of the outdoor movies at Chimbo this year?
I wish to buy the CD of this powerful movie
