Bellevue Elementary begins its first School Safety Patrol program this week. The initial group of safety patrol members include fourth and fifth graders. Members are selected based on grades, attendance, and good citizenship.
The Safety Patrol, in conjunction with faculty supervision, will be responsible for helping to enforce school policy, serve as mentors, and function as role models. The induction ceremony held Friday (4/12) was attended by Safety Trainer Carrie Lindenfeld of Richmond Public Schools Department of Safety and Security.
