Woman robbed on Franklin Street (UPDATED)

Three masked men armed with a shotgun and a handgun robbed a woman late Thursday in the 2600 block of East Franklin Street.

Richmond police said one suspect pushed the barrel of his shotgun into the woman’s torso, but the victim was not injured in the robbery, which was reported at 10:32 p.m.

A woman walking near 26th and East Franklin Streets had some scary moments just before 10:30pm Thursday night. She came face to face with three masked men and their weapons, including a shotgun. One of them even pushed the barrel of that shotgun into her torso.

Then at 12:25am, a man was walking home through Chimborazo Park when two men robbed him. He told police at least one of them was armed.

The last incident happened in a parking lot in the 1900 block of East Franklin Street around 12:45am. Police say the victims were robbed by three men. Two of them had guns.
