Open just shy of the 3 months, Proper Pie gets their first proper review on richmond.com:
The pies are about as big around as a softball, so it’s possible to sample more than one in a single meal, or order several of your favorites at around $4-$6 apiece. With the pies already made, Proper Pie proves a good fast-food alternative for a quick bite on the run.
The savory concoctions tend to highlight just a few ingredients, with the descriptions such as minced meat and cheese telling exactly what you’ll find tucked inside the delicate and tasty dough.

I stopped in to pick up two sweet pies to take to a party. They were delicious and such a nice alternative to a cake! They were beautiful and a huge hit with everyone there.
