More trouble at the Night & Day: police tape, police cruiser, police van.

What a $hit show. That store is within one block of some amazing things happening in the neighborhood: the Robinson, East End Fellowship, Blue Sky Fund (coming soon). I have to believe it’s the business model and the simultaneously vulnerable and dangerous clientele it attracts that is the issue at Night &Day. I’m grateful the ABC Commission denied the application of 25th Street Deli just a few blocks away and I hope we can restrict the licenses of the predatory stores throughout the neighborhood.
The Night and Day was *not* predatory — if you knew Miss Kim and James, or had ever been in there, you’d know that Miss Kim’s store was oriented towards the community, and she actually worked to support those very organizations you named. We should hope for more people like her to run stores in our neighborhood.
Does anyone know how I could get in contact with Miss Kim for an interview please?
how long has this grocery open?
